STEP 1
Take two bandits from the left side to the right side.

STEP 2
Someone must bring back the boat to pick up the remaining people.
(You might ask: Why not just run? Because, maybe the bandits are
loyal...) Therefore, one of the bandits should ride the boat back.

STEP 3
Take the two remaining bandits from the left side to the right side.
|
|
STEP 4
One of the bandits on the right side should bring back the boat to the left side.
(Why not just run? Because... err...well...because... this is just a game,
you see...)

STEP 5
Take two scientist to the right side.
|
|
STEP 6
Someone must get the boat back to the left side. We cannot send just
one bandit back because the bandits will outnumber the poor scientist on the left side.
We also cannot send 1 of the scientist back because the bandits will outnumber the remaining poor scientist on the right side.
So we must send one bandit and one scientist back.

STEP 7
Take the remaining scientists to the right side of the river.
|
|
STEP 8
Tell the bandit on the right side of the river to go back to pick up his friend.
There is no point of sending a scientist along.
|
|
STEP 9
Two bandits should now go to the right side of the river.
|
|
STEP 10
One of the bandits on the right side of the river should go back to pick up his friend.
|
|
STEP 11
Finally, take the remaining evil bandits to safety.
|
|
STEP 12
Everyone is happy and may go home to have dinner safely.
